Oxford Impressions is holding a Design Team call for 2012! Submission deadline is Christmas day, December 25th, 2011. Team members will be selected before New Year's Day.
Design Team members are expected to create 3 pieces of art with each Oxford Impressions new rubber stamp release. Oxford Impressions releases 6 to 8 collections a year. Participation is always voluntary. We understand everyone has to manage their own personal time. If publication opportunities arise, or if we host blog hops or challenges, team members may be asked to participate, but it is also voluntary. We want stamping to be fun - not work! We at Oxford Impressions do not mind if team members are on multiple design teams, however, we expect equal time and attention. Do not submit if you aggressively represent a single stamp company and plan to keep doing so. Design team members with other companies should make sure to know the policy of their existing stamp company owner before submitting. We don't mind sharing - others do.
Submission requirements are:
Send 3 to 10 samples of your stamped art. Choose your best, recent art, something that reflects your current style. You may submit by email or regular mail.
Send email submission scans to: team@oxfordimpressions.com . Be sure to use the quality of scans you would be using to submit regular team work. We must have clear, beautiful scans that show the stamped images to advantage. Great photography is a good alternative to scans and may be emailed as well.
Send postal mail submissions to: Oxford Impressions, P.O. Box 382721, Germantown, TN 38183-2721. Submitted artwork will not be returned, so make sure if you send the actual piece, it is something you can part with. Be aware that submissions may be posted on our website or blog with your name. By sending us your work, you are allowing us to show it off. It is not a requirement that you use Oxford Impressions rubber stamps in your team submissions.
Along with art submissions, please include the following:
Name, address, email address
Any art/craft company you currently represent.
Website, blog, or photo sharing site - however you usually share your art with the world.
If you have been published and in what publications. You don't need to include specifics such as issues and pages - just generally.
If you have any questions about submitting or the requirements of the position, please contact suzanne at the: team@oxfordimpressions.com address.
I can't wait to see your art!
